With further strong progress over the summer construction period, the superhub is now emerging as a distinctive urban form. This year we're on track to start operations at Ruakura Inland Port in the third quarter to align with the opening of the new Kmart facility. This will be followed soon after by the opening of the Big Chill building. In the meantime we’re relocating Transpower pylons to free up a prime 5ha site next to the inland port, and finish the final internal road (Te Ipukura St) for stage 1. We'll also see the wetland further come to life with native planting, bridges and boardwalks all going in.
