Mr Tuck will leave TGH at the end of March to take up the role of Property and Infrastructure Lead at Air New Zealand.
TGH Chief Executive, Chris Joblin thanked Peter Tuck for his valuable contribution over the past 3+ years and congratulated him on his new role, which includes international projects.
“Peter has played a key role in bringing Ruakura Superhub to life. He and his team have forged strong business partnerships with our JV partner, key local and central government agencies and with the first generation of tenants for Ruakura Superhub.
“He leaves Ruakura Superhub in very good shape, with new buildings for the first generation of tenants heading towards completion, and with a very strong pipeline of new tenancy discussions with major organisations in place,” says Mr Joblin.
Experienced TGH team member Ivan Bartley will step into the role of GM Development on an Acting basis, while long-term business needs are assessed.
Mr Bartley has been with TGH for almost three years, mostly recently in the role of Development Manager for Ruakura and for Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport Hotel (nearing completion.)
He has been deeply involved in delivery of Ruakura Superhub to date including business cases, securing tenants, new building procurement and construction, amongst other duties. His professional experience includes around 20 years in development roles with AMP Capital, Kiwi Property, and others.
TGH manages around $1.7 billion of assets for Waikato-Tainui. Major projects currently include the development of the 490-hectare Ruakura Superhub, and two projects nearing completion: a new centre for ACC in central Hamilton and Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport Hotel (with joint venture partner Auckland International Airport Ltd).
